Center for Cough (located in Tampa Bay, Florida) is the only dedicated center for diagnosing and treating chronic cough and throat clearing in the Southeast region of the United States, and one of only a few in the nation. 

Dr. Mandel Sher, M.D., Founder and Medical Director of the Center, has consistently been voted by peers as a “Top Doctor in America”.  Trained at Duke, Harvard, Northwestern University, and the University of Michigan.

He has been a faculty member of the University of South Florida’s College of Medicine since 1986.  Dr. Sher is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology and Pediatric Rheumatology with a private practice in the Tampa Bay area since 1984.

Chronic cough is a treatable condition. 7 out of 10 of our patients report cure or life-changing cough resolution, most in 1 or 2 office visits. While cough is a common medical problem, treatment is often geared at the symptom, rather than the underlying cause, leaving patients feeling frustrated and still coughing.
